East Burwood Rams Under 9 and Under 10 Update

Coaches for 2010 Season

Under 9’s –Brett Barclay

The following is the schedule of events leading up to the first game of the Season on April 11th

12thMarch –First Training run -4.30pm

14thMarch –Jumper Presentation -Time TBC

19thMarch –Training & Pie Night (Also Parents Pre Season Information night)

26thMarch –Training Night

2ndApril –No Training (Good Friday)

9thApril –Training Night

11thApril –First Game

Note: All training will be at East Burwood Reserve (Secondary Oval opposite Athletics Track) on Friday’s and will commence at 4.30pm and Finish at 5.30pm

With the closeness of both teams the decision has been made for the Under 9’s and 10’s to train at the same time.

At this stage we have 16 players on the Under 10’s list and 29 players on the Under 9 list. We will be fielding two under 9 teams due to current registrations exceeding one teams ability of fair rotation. This means that we will be looking for a second coach preferably one that will have the ability to coach the under 9’s again next year (i.e. Child playing under 9’s next year).

We will also be advertising for players so we can get to our target of 22 Under 10’s and 40 Under 9’s, please feel free to let anyone you know, who’s child would be interested in playing.

We are seeking two Team Managers for the under 9’s and Trainers across both age groups, please contact Darren Wilson if interested on 0409 002 965.

Details of fixtures , venues, times etc. will be distributed by team managers as they become available. Remember you must be registered and paid up prior to Round 1. Registration forms available on the club website.

To celebrate the start of the season the first team dinner will be held at the clubrooms on Sunday 11th April at 5.30pm.

WHERE: East Burwood Clubrooms, East Burwood Reserve

9.30 am Jumper Presentations for Under 9,10,11 & 12 teams.

11.00 am Jumper Presentations for Under 13,14,15 & 16 teams.

Uniform order forms available on the website or from your team manager. Stan Krnel (dental prosthetist) will be available on the day to take orders for mouthgards. Also present  A-Grade sports supplies for all your football orders.
